The Aluminium Fluoride plant is commissioned in Odda. Capacity is 20.000MT/year. The plant is a joint venture between Årdal og Sunndal verk (ÅSV) and Norzink.


1971
Capacity increased to 28.000MT/year


1986
Hydro Aluminium replaces ÅSV as Norzink`s joint venture partner


1994
Norzink takes over the sole responsibility for the Aluminium Fluoride activities


1997
Norzink Aluminium Fluoride business changes name to Noralf


1999
Production/sales of Anhydrite implemented


2006
Noralf expansion, new capacity up to 40.000MT/year


2016
Fluorsid acquires from Boliden its aluminium fluoride business and gives again the name of Noralf to the production site.
